Fact-checking and verification

Since 2020, Reuters has partnered with several major technology platforms on initiatives to combat misinformation. Reuters now fact-checks social media content in countries on four continents in five languages. Reuters expanded access to its content through new channels, including a video streaming channel on LG smart TVs in the U.S., a channel on the Amazon News App on Fire TV and through Haystack News.
