Reuters ahead in reporting GM, Nikola join forces

On Sept. 8, Reuters was two and a half minutes ahead of the competition with news of General Motors signing a multibillion-dollar partnership with electric truck maker Nikola to take on Tesla Inc.

Market Impact

Nikola stock shot up 48% on the announcement. Shares of GM rose 10%.
