Reuters published a multimedia story on the oldest man to finish the “hardest triathlon in the world.” Paul Parrish, a 49-year-old charity worker and recovering alcoholic, completed the Arch to Arc which consists of a grueling 87-mile run from Marble Arch in London to the coast, a swim across the Channel to France, and a 180-mile bike ride to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. One of only 20 people to complete the race, Parrish finished with a time of 84 hours and 44min, the seventh fastest time recorded.
