Reuters exclusively reveals Walmart halves paid leave for COVID-positive workers

Reuters reported exclusively that Walmart Inc will now provide up to one week of paid time-off if a worker contracts COVID-19, instead of its earlier policy for up to two weeks. Walmart, the largest private employer in the United States with 1.6 million workers, is among the first major retailers to reduce paid leave for COVID-19 and could serve as a bellwether for other major employers.
