Reuters first to report key developments from OPEC meeting

Reuters was first to report key developments from a dramatic two-day Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) policy meeting on March 5 and 6 which ended in collapse, sending global oil prices into a tailspin. Reuters was alone with news that Russia would only agree to extending existing output cuts, not new cuts. Then when OPEC failed not only to agree on new cuts, but even to extend existing cuts, Reuters was ahead by 35 minutes.
