Reuters was first with news that Lyft Inc had pulled significantly ahead of bigger rival Uber Technologies Inc in the race to become the first publicly listed U.S. ride-hailing company, preparing to launch the roadshow for its initial public offering during the week of March 18. Lyft now expects to be valued at between $20 billion and $25 billion in its IPO and the roadshow is expected to last about two weeks, according to sources.
