Reuters was first to report on Wednesday that the U.S. was expected to ground the Boeing 737 MAX fleet, joining Europe, China and other countries around the world in suspending flights of the plane that crashed in Ethiopia, killing 157 people. The news sent Boeing stock down three percent. Reuters was two and a half minutes ahead of the official announcement from President Trump, which initiated a broader stock market sell-off.
