Reuters was first with the news that Wells Fargo will pay at least $575 million to settle with state regulators over a phony account scandal that has already cost it $190 million in a settlement reached with federal regulators two years ago. Since then, the bank has racked up over $2 billion in penalties as other issues were discovered across most of its business lines.
