Reuters first to reveal GM’s Cadillac will introduce EV in fight against Tesla

Reuters was first with the news that General Motors was planning to launch a new electric model under the Cadillac luxury brand to challenge Tesla’s dominance in that market segment. Cadillac is expected to become General Motor’s lead electric vehicle brand and will be basing the new vehicles on its “BEV3” platform, which makes up the basis for vehicle underpinnings, including the battery system and other structural and mechanical parts.
