Reuters offers insight on how Wall Street banks bailing on troubled U.S. farm sector

Reuters took readers on a deep dive into how Wall Street banks are bailing on the increasingly indebted U.S. farm sector. Based on a Reuters analysis of Wall Street’s disclosures to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Reuters showed how the agricultural loan portfolios of the nation’s top 30 banks fell by 17.5%, or almost $4 billion, between December 2015 and March 2019.
