Reuters reveals Bombardier in advanced talks to sell 3 plants to Spirit AeroSystems

Reuters exclusively reported that Canadian plane-maker Bombardier was in advanced talks to sell three plants, including closely-watched Belfast wing-making facility, to Spirit Aerosystems in a deal valued at more than $1 billion. The two companies confirmed the transaction the next morning. Bombardier shares rallied about 14% in two days, and some traders and analysts cited the assets sale as part of the reason.
