Reuters dominated news coverage of India’s new foreign investment curbs for the e-commerce sector in recent weeks, which dealt a massive blow to Walmart and Amazon’s ambitions in India. The rules forced the companies to change their business structures from Feb. 1 and led to an unsuccessful lobbying effort from the companies and the U.S. government.
