Reuters was first to report that a group of at least 10 U.S. state attorneys general are preparing to file a lawsuit to stop the $26 billion merger of Sprint and T-Mobile, a deal that would reduce the number of nationwide wireless carriers from four to three. Sprint shares fell as much as 5 percent following the Reuters report and T-Mobile’s stock was down 2.5 percent.
