Reuters reveals largest Latin American development bank, IDB, ousts its president

Reuters exclusively reported major developments in a process that saw the largest Latin American development bank, IDB, oust its president, Mauricio Claver-Carone, after an independent ethics probe found “direct evidence” that he had an intimate relationship with a subordinate and violated other bank rules. Reuters first broke news of the investigation in April this year and also revealed the probe’s findings and the bank votes to remove Claver-Carone
