Reuters reveals EQT, Digital Colony, Stonepeak group near deal to buy Zayo; market reacts

Shares of Zayo Group Holdings Inc rose as much as 8 percent after Reuters exclusively reported that a consortium including investment firms Digital Colony Partners LP, EQT AB and Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners has secured exclusive rights to negotiate a deal to buy the U.S. communications infrastructure provider, in what would be one of the biggest leveraged buyouts of the year.
