Reuters reveals state securities regulators investigating Celsius accounts freeze

Reuters exclusively reported that state securities regulators in Alabama, Kentucky, New Jersey, Texas and Washington are investigating crypto lender Celsius Network’s decision to suspend customer redemptions. Celsius gathers deposits from retail customers and invests them in the equivalent of the wholesale crypto market, including sites that use blockchain technology to offer services from loans to insurance outside the traditional financial sector.
