Reuters dominated timings on the many market moving news breaks in the lead up to the UK election, finishing with a 3 second win on the results of the exit poll that accurately predicted a large Conservative majority and sent sterling up more than 2%. Other market moving wins included the results of a closely watched Yougov poll, and when Nigel Farage said his Brexit party would not run against the Conservatives.
